Packing List Envelopes & Shipping Slip Envelope Supplies
Whether large quantities of a few items are sold wholesale or single units of several are purchased by an individual, the customer will expect a packing list. Every order should be accompanied by a list of items included, even if only one small piece is purchased. A packing list does more than just let the customer verify the contents of the package. It also gives the vendor the chance for some subtle or not so subtle advertising, either reminding the customer of the firm's existence or offering a limited time offer for additional materials.
Packing lists can be attached to a load in different ways. Some companies simply insert the paperwork into the box with the product. This works well for small orders, but a packing list could easily be lost in the interior of a large box, or the customer could, quite by mistake, throw it away with the rest of the padding. Another placement option is between the box's top and inner flaps. This makes it somewhat easier to see the paperwork, but it does expose it to damage if the recipient is not gentle with the boxcutter. The best option is often to place the paperwork in a pouch that adheres to the outside of the box.
Packing list envelopes come in clear or orange, printed with the legend "Packing list enclosed," or some variant. To order envelopes for your own packing lists, select from the extensive assortment at ESupplyStore.com and order using their shopping cart app.
